These terms are the agreement between you and Tengizi Bardavelidze ("we", "us") for the Family Routine app you downloaded from the Apple App Store. Please read them before you set the app up for your child. By downloading or using Family Routine, you agree to them.
Family Routine is a checklist your child ticks off, plus one photo of the packed bag that you approve or send back. A grown-up sets it up; a child uses it with that grown-up's permission. The photos and notes belong to your family, not to us. The photo is encrypted on your child's device to a key only your device holds, so we could not look at it if we wanted to. Most of it is free, and there is an optional subscription for families with more than one child. You can delete all of it from inside the app. The rest of this document is the careful wording of those same points, plus the parts Apple requires every app to say.
This agreement is between you and us only. It is not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Family Routine or for anything in it, and Apple is not a party to this agreement.
These terms cover the version of Family Routine you obtained from the Apple App Store. If we later release Family Routine for another platform, that version will come with its own terms.
Nothing here overrides the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or Apple's usage rules; where this agreement and those rules disagree about how an App Store app may be used, Apple's rules win.
Nothing in these terms sets a minimum age for using Family Routine. The app is designed for a child to use, and a child of any age may use it.
What these terms do require is that the person who sets it up is an adult with the legal capacity to enter this agreement, and is the parent or legal guardian of the child whose routine they create, or an adult that parent or guardian has authorised. By creating a routine you confirm that is you.
A child may use Family Routine on a second device that you own or control, under your supervision. When you set that device up, you are agreeing to these terms on your child's behalf, and you are responsible for what happens on it: what the routine asks for, what your child photographs, and the fact that a photo of your home is being taken at all.
Family Routine is not designed for a child to find, download and set up alone. If a child has set it up without a parent or guardian, please use Settings → Advanced → Delete all data, or write to us at kidroutineapp@gmail.com and we will remove the family's data.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Family Routine on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's usage rules, including the devices of family members who share your purchases through Family Sharing. The app is licensed to you, not sold.
You may not sublicense, rent, sell, or transfer the app. You may not make it available over a network where several devices could use it at once, other than by pairing your own household's devices as the app is designed to do. If you sell or give away a device, remove Family Routine from it first.
Except where the law expressly allows it despite this clause, and except for any open-source components, which keep their own licences, you may not copy, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to derive the source code of Family Routine or any update to it, or create derivative works from it.
We keep every right in Family Routine that this agreement does not expressly grant you: the app, its design, its artwork, its characters and its name are ours.
Please use Family Routine for what it is: one family's morning and evening routine. Specifically, do not:
We may suspend or end your access if you do any of these.
The photo of the packed bag, the notes you and your child write, the routine you build and your child's first name are yours. We do not claim ownership of them, and we do not use them to advertise, to train models, or for any purpose other than running the app for you.
The proof photo is encrypted on your child's device before it leaves, using a key that only your device holds. We store it as an opaque file and we cannot open it. That is a property of how the app is built, not a promise about how carefully we behave. It also means we cannot recover a photo for you if the parent device that holds the key is lost or reset, and it means we cannot inspect what a photo contains. Moderating what your family sends each other is your job, not ours.
To run the app we need your permission to store and transmit that content between your devices and to hold it on our servers for as long as the app needs it. You give us that permission, and nothing wider. A photo is deleted from our storage when you tap "Looks good", and photos are cleared from storage within about fourteen days in any case.
You are responsible for the content your household puts into Family Routine, and you confirm you have the right to put it there.
How we handle your data, what is stored, where, and for how long, is described in our Privacy Policy, which you can read in the app under Settings → Privacy or alongside these terms, and which forms part of this agreement.
Two points belong here as well. Family Routine has no accounts, no email addresses and no passwords: your devices sign in anonymously, and the identity of a device lives in that device's keychain. And unlike the standard App Store licence, which permits a developer to collect technical data about your device, we do not. There is no advertising, no advertising identifier and no tracking across other apps in this app. The two outside services it does use are named in the Privacy Policy: our own server, and RevenueCat for subscriptions. If you write to us through Settings → Contact us, your message, the reply address you type, the app version, your device model and your device's anonymous identifier go to our support inbox, because that is what answering you takes.
Family Routine needs an internet connection to move a photo and an approval between two devices. Data charges, roaming charges and the terms of your mobile plan are between you and your carrier, and you must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, your wireless data agreement in particular, since the two devices are often in two different countries.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device. If you turn notifications off in iOS Settings, or your device is off, the reminder will not appear. Nothing in Family Routine is a substitute for you noticing.
We will try to keep Family Routine working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption, that a photo will always arrive, or that a reminder will always fire on time. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering the app altogether; if we plan to shut the service down, we will show a notice in the app before we do, and give you a reasonable chance to take your data out.
Family Routine is a household organiser. It is not a safety, security or supervision product, it is not medical or psychological advice, and its streaks and medals are not a behavioural treatment. Do not rely on it to confirm that a child is safe, present, or where you expect them to be.
Most of Family Routine is free, with no time limit and no card. One child, both routines, as many steps as you like, the photo your child sends, approving it or sending it back, reminders, streaks and medals: all free, for as long as you use the app.
Family Routine Plus is an optional subscription. It adds the rest of your children, the whole photo archive rather than the last seven days, and putting the app on your child's own phone or iPad. One subscription covers your family.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and again at the start of each new period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings.
If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged, as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in. Apple, not us, handles billing, renewals and refunds under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and refunds are requested from Apple.
If a subscription ends, nothing is deleted. Your children, routines, streaks, medals and photos stay exactly where they are on your device; the app simply shows one child and the last seven days of photos again until you subscribe once more. Introducing a paid plan has not taken away access to routines and photos you created while the app was free. Those stay open to you.
We are solely responsible for supporting Family Routine. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for it.

We stand behind the app as best we can, and we are solely responsible for any product warranty that applies to it, express or implied, to the extent it is not effectively disclaimed below.
If Family Routine ever fails to conform to a warranty that applies to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price you paid for the app, if any. To the maximum extent the law allows, that is the whole of Apple's warranty obligation: any other claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense arising from a failure to conform to a warranty is our responsibility, not Apple's.
Otherwise: FAMILY ROUTINE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Some places do not allow implied warranties to be excluded, or limit a consumer's statutory rights to be reduced. If you live somewhere like that, the paragraph above may not apply to you, and your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything in this agreement.
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, business interruption, a missed bus, a forgotten PE kit, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, Family Routine, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if we were told such losses were possible.
Except where the law requires otherwise, including in cases of personal injury, our total liability to you for all damages will not exceed fifty US dollars ($50.00). This limit applies even if a remedy in this agreement fails of its essential purpose.
Nothing in this agreement limits our liability to you beyond what applicable law allows, and nothing limits liability for fraud, for gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim you or a third party makes relating to Family Routine or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar law.
If a third party claims that Family Routine, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
This agreement runs until it ends. You can end it at any time by deleting Family Routine from your devices. Your rights under it end automatically if you break its terms, and we may suspend or end your access if you do. For serious or repeated breaches we may act immediately, and otherwise we will give you notice and a chance to put it right where that is reasonable.
Two things in the app end it more thoroughly than deleting the icon:
Deleting the app from a device on its own does not delete data held on our servers. Use "Delete all data" for that, or write to kidroutineapp@gmail.com and we will do it. The sections on your content, warranty, liability, export, Apple's rights and governing law survive the end of this agreement.
You may not export or re-export Family Routine except as US law and the law of the country where you obtained it allow. In particular, it may not be exported or re-exported into a country subject to a US embargo, or to anyone on the US Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals List or the US Department of Commerce's Denied Persons List or Entity List.
By using Family Routine you represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You also agree not to use the app for any purpose prohibited by US law, including the development, design, manufacture or production of nuclear, missile, chemical or biological weapons.
Family Routine and its documentation are "Commercial Items" as defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101, consisting of "Commercial Computer Software" and "Commercial Computer Software Documentation" as those terms are used in 48 C.F.R. §12.212 or 48 C.F.R. §227.7202. Consistent with 48 C.F.R. §12.212 or 48 C.F.R. §227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4, they are licensed to US Government end users only as Commercial Items and with only the rights granted to every other end user under this agreement. Unpublished rights are reserved under the copyright laws of the United States.
You and we acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and that on your acceptance of these terms Apple will have the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary of it.
We may update these terms, for a new feature, a change in the law, or when paid plans arrive. If a change materially affects your rights, we will say so at the top of this page and show a notice in the app in the next update. Continuing to use Family Routine after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the app and delete your data.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it. Nothing here takes away a consumer protection you have under the law of the country you live in. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway or Iceland, or in any other place whose law gives you the protection of your local courts, this clause does not deprive you of that protection: the mandatory law of your usual place of residence applies, and you may bring proceedings there.
If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given it up. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it to a successor if our business is transferred, and we will say so in the app if that happens. This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, is the whole agreement between you and us about Family Routine, and replaces anything said about it beforehand.
